Frequently Asked Questions

Can I wear make-up after my Semi-Permanent Make-up treatment?
You will have to wait until your skin is fully healed before wearing any make-up. Make-up can be worn on surrounding areas, but the area which has been treated should be kept make-up free until fully healed.
Is Semi-Permanent Make-Up safe?
Yes, Semi-Permanent Make-Up is completely safe. Working to strict clinically hygienic standards using sterile equipment, only fully trained and experienced professionals carry out our treatments.
Can I go in the sun before and after my treatment?
Avoid natural sunlight and sunbed exposure on the treated area for at least seven days before AND after the treatment date and definitely until the skin is fully healed. Use a minimum SPF30 on the treated area after it has healed, as exposure to the sun can cause discolouration and fading of the pigment.
Are you able to get lip fillers at the same time as semi-permanent lips?

Not at the same time because there needs to be at least 4 weeks between the treatments. However, if youโ€™re interested in adding fillers as well as having semi-permanent lips, please discuss this with us during your consultation to ensure you achieve optimum results from your semi-permanent makeup.

Can I keep my eyelash extensions on during my semi-permanent eyeliner treatment?

No. If worn, lash extensions should be removed at least one week before the treatment.

What will I look like straight after my treatment?

Your Semi-Permanent Make-Up colour will be considerably stronger immediately after the treatment, but it will soften to a more natural shade in time. It is not unusual for lips to appear swollen immediately after the first treatment, but they will return to the natural size and shape within a few days.
