Specialist Hair Tattoo For Men and Women
In the past, the only way to tackle baldness, hair thinning, or a receding hairline would be to go under the knife for a hair transplant. This is no longer your only solution. Our specialist hair tattoo for men and women, also known as scalp micro pigmentation, is a non-surgical, minimally invasive way to create the appearance of hair follicles. Although scalp micro pigmentation is most popular on the scalp, the versatility of the treatment means it is also ideal for the beard, allowing you to fill in any sparse areas.
As with all of our treatments, we schedule every client in for an initial consultation to discuss their requirements. From here, our specialists in hair tattoo for men and women will recommend how many sessions they feel will be necessary and will then create a bespoke treatment plan, ensuring maximum results.
How Does Our Scalp Tattoo Work?
Our scalp tattoo utilises an industry-leading, handheld device to implant colour pigment under the surface of the skin. As the device is electronic, it does not scratch or cut the skin but instead allows the pigment to replicate the appearance of hair follicles for natural, seamless results.
Based on your natural growth pattern, hair colour and skin tone, your scalp micro pigmentation specialist will tailor their methods and the pigment used. They will place tiny dots of pigment onto the treatment area, making it look as if there is a stubble. These results will be instantly visible; however, your specialist may book you in for more than one session to ensure that maximum results can be achieved.
What Can Our Scalp Micro Pigmentation Be Used For?
The extensive training of our reputable team means that they have the skills and knowledge required to tailor their techniques to meet your requirements. This flexibility means that our scalp micro pigmentation can be used to treat several situations that may be dampening your confidence, such as:
- To conceal male or female pattern baldness
- To make thinning hair appear fuller, such as on the crown
- To tackle the appearance of a receding hairline
- To create the look of stubble on a bald head
- To cover a noticeable scar on the scalp
- To restore the appearance of hair follicles for alopecia sufferers
- To fill in any sparse areas on the beard

Does Scalp Micro-Pigmentation Hurt?
Whilst Scalp Micro-pigmentation is not pain-free, it is not a particularly uncomfortable procedure – as with any treatment, everyone has a different pain threshold, some clients feel minimal discomfort and other clients feel varying degrees of discomfort. We offer a complimentary patch test during the consultation and this will give an indication of how the treatment will feel.
How Much Does Scalp Micro-Pigmentation Cost?
The cost of the Scalp Micro- pigmentation will vary for each client depending of the work involved. Prices typically start from £500 up to £2,000 for a full head. The price quoted will cover up to three sessions to achieve the desired results.
Will I Have To Shave My Head?
It is helpful for the client to attend the consultation with some hair growth, so the practitioner can assess the natural hair growth and hair loss. The area will be shaved for the patch test. During the treatment session itself the practitioner will require a shaved head in order to provide the best results.
Can I Go In The Sun/On Sunbeds After My Treatment?
For your safety and for the optimum results it is important that the area to be treated is not exposed to natural sun or a sunbed until the treatment programme is completed. Your practitioner will discuss this together with full aftercare advise at your consultation and during treatment.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
Whilst the majority of clients see great results after two sessions, your pricing will include up to three sessions to achieve the results that both the practitioner and client are completely happy with.
How Soon Can I Have My Second Session?
It’s important to wait at least 4 weeks after the initial session, this will ensure the area is fully healed.

"With age, I had started to notice thinner patches in my hair, particularly around the crown, and would often wear a hat to cover it up. I had never thought too much about getting a treatment done because I assumed a hair transplant was the only option (I really wasn’t keen on the idea of this) until I came across scalp micro pigmentation. After a bit of research, I found Bianco and was so impressed by their reviews so booked a consultation. The team were absolutely fantastic and so thorough when explaining the treatment, so much so that I booked in for my first session while there. I’m now two sessions in, and the results are just excellent, you cannot even tell that I have had the treatment done, and I’m pleased to say I haven’t felt the need to wear a hat since! Thank you to everyone at Bianco who has made my experience so great! "
