Aftercare For Laser Skin Resurfacing
Itβs very important not to touch or wash your face for 24-48 hours post-treatment. Your skin will be in a stage of healing and should be left alone. Vigorous exercise should also be avoided during this initial period so that your body can focus on recovery.
After 48 hours, you can gently rinse your face with water only (we recommend boiling a kettle and letting it cool so that the water is sterile, if possible), but stay away from skincare products and make-up for now.
After around seven days, you can typically start resuming your everyday routine. However, because each individual treatment is so different, your practitioner will advise you on your specific aftercare instructions post-treatment.
